1. What kind of work and what type of candidates should I expect to find in Web Freelance?
Web Freelance is a platform for web-based freelance projects only. That includes developing and designing websites, product descriptions for various marketplaces, content writing for blog posts, and much more.
2. Is Web Freelance Free?
By registering to Web Freelance, every User receives free credits, that could be used for publishing Tasks as a Client or sending Offers as a Freelancer. The credits are available to use, for unlimited time. After the credits are spent, the User must purchase new ones to keep using the platform.
5. Can I be a Client and a Freelancer at the same time?
Yes, you could send offers and publish tasks at the same time. This will help you in finding freelance work beyond your skills or outsourcing part of the projects to other freelancers. For example, You are a developer and you must create a website, but you are not familiar with web design. You can create a Website Design Task and find a Freelancer who will do it for you. Breaking down a bigger project on small Tasks and assigning them to other professionals could lead to better, more efficient work. The chances that a freelancer could be equally qualified in different freelance categories are very small.
6. Can I receive additional information about a particular Task that I've found through the platform?
Every Task contains detailed information like target audience, type of files, or layout frameworks. You can also ask questions about the Client's Task, whether or not you have already sent an offer. Once you have posted a question, the Client will be informed per email and you will possibly find his answer in the Task's Q&A. Your question and its answer are going to be visible to all the users who are looking through the Task details.
7. Can I include a portfolio of my previous projects?
Yes, before applying to any Task, it's recommended to fill out your Freelance Info section in your Dashboard. You can also add your personal website, social media profiles, recommendations from other sources, and list your actual freelance skills. Sending Offers is possible even if you don't have a portfolio, but the possibility to be chosen for a Task is much better if you do have one. You can change your portfolio's details, links and descriptions anytime.
8. Are there ratings for every Freelancer or Client in Web Freelance?
There are no ratings or reviews in Web Freelance. This kind of feedback could often be falsely written or incorrect. In order to pick a freelancer, You should go through his portfolio and ask questions in the Initial Questions To Freelancers tab, visible in every Task. Filling out the Task correctly and adding a Task Description will also help in getting Offers from proper candidates.
9. How long my Task will be open for Offers once it's published?
The Task's deadline is 14 days. It starts once the Admins approve the Task, and publish it in the platform.
10. Once my Task is published, am I going to be able to edit or cancel it?
Yes, you can cancel or edit your Task anytime, before expiring. You can also end the Task beforehand. By canceling, you will receive half of the credits used to publish the particular Task, back.
11. Once my Offer is published, am I going to be able to edit or cancel it?
Yes, you will also be able to cancel or edit your published Offer before the Task's deadline expires. By canceling, you will receive all of the credits, used for publishing the Offer, back.
12. How can I choose a Freelancer for my Task?
To choose a Freelancer, you should select his Offer and then wait for the Task to expire, or you could end the Task beforehand. The Freelancer who's Offer you have chosen will receive your contact details per email, only after the Task has expired. You can select multiple Freelancers for one Task.
